England flag ban fury






FIREMEN have been banned from flying England’s flag at their station during the World Cup.

Stunned crews were told the Cross of St George could offend ethnic minorities.

One fireman at the station in Barking, East London, said: “It’s insane.”

Ashfaq Siddique, secretary of Barking Mosque, said: “We’re not offended — it’s a national flag.”

London Fire Brigade confirmed staff needed permission from the commissioner to hoist flags.

A spokesman said: “We are addressing this issue locally with the station.”

When of course the only people it really offends are effete lily-white middle-class self-loathing liberals who want to destroy everything distinctive and authentic about the country it is their eternal misfortune to be a part of. They hate ordinary working-class people and their English ways and want to eradicate them.

Immigrants themselves often appreciate the customs and ways of this country more than the indigenous people themselves (not always, natch - sometimes they conspicuously don't appreciate them....) but more often than not this kind of thing is the work of interfering white middle-class demagogues. No one else.

Not sure it's predominantly the middle classes. My area is significantly middle class and I don't see these kinds of problems. I think it's more likely to be the professional liberal state employee and the caring, sharing liberal media that's to blame.

And, of course, everyone else (present company excluded) for letting them get away with it.

These kinds of twats who ban the English flag are making a statement - if you belong to an ethnic minority there is no way you can ever consider yourself to be English even if you want to be. These self-styled liberals are worse than the BNP.

The BNP speak for themselves, self-styled liberals assume they speak for someone else with no consultation with those they purport to speak for.

Whenever this kind of situation is encountered, look to see who or what
the individual creating it is. Is he, perchance, a Scot?

There must be an explanation somewhere, but it might need winkling out.
Perhaps a member of the public might want to use the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 to discover the authority for the instruction?

These people are extremely fond of central registers, databases of people in pigeonholes, they have a deep respect for lists of information that could be made available to those in power. It would be very nice if the nationalist parties would start recording these Judases for a future date. Maybe just enough to consentrate their little minds onto areas of future possible retribution.
The bureaucratic instinct for self-preservation, anonymity, pension prospects and other self-interest motives would make them keep their heads down. If they sniff a wind of change they will chameleon into nationalistic monomaniacs.
